Congratulations to all of the #MGOCSM students from St Basil's Orthodox Church for completing their Build-A-Home project in Kerala, India. Thank you, Rev. Fr. Thomas Paul, for your excellent guidance, and to all members and nonmembers for your kind donations.

Thank you to Rev. Fr. Zachariah Ninan (Zacher Achen) for assisting us in completing the Build-A-Home project in Kottayam, Kerala.

St. Basil MGOCSM is organizing a fundraiser to Build A Home for a family in need

Want to join us in making a difference? In this season of giving, we need your help! Our St. Basil Orthodox Church's Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Student Movement is planning an initiative to raise money to build a house for a family in need.

Recently in the state of Kerala which is located in south India, there have been devastating floods that left thousands of families homeless. These events have left families struggling and left many children on the streets. We hope to gift a loving home to a family who has been left on the street because of this natural calamity using the money we raise.

We humbly ask for your thoughts, prayers, and generous contributions to help make this vision of making a positive change in this family’s life into reality.

Thank you and God bless!

Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Student Movement (MGOCSM)

The St. Basil Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Student Movement (MGOCSM) is a group of students who aspire to improve their spiritual lives. The youth have adopted the MGOCSM mission statement, "Worship, Study, Service," as their own and have gone to tremendous efforts to carry it out. With monthly youth meetings, charity events, volunteer work, as well as events promoting fellowship, the youth play an active role in their spiritual lives. They strive not only to learn about the faith in their individual walk with God, but also to become examples to one another, to serve each other, as well as worship our Lord in unity. With the guidance of our Achen, Rev. Fr. Thomas Paul, we hope to continue our growth in the Word, in prayer, and in fellowship, glorifying Him in all our ways.

"Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength."

— Isaiah 40:30-31
